Mechanisms of movement transformation

Whenever a new machine is designed to carry out a specific
activity, each and every one of the mechanisms that will constitute the
mechanical transmission, transformation and regulation of its movement must be
considered.


The final objective should be to design and manufacture a
machine, in which all its components perform the task they are entrusted in a
synchronized way, that the set is profitable, safe, efficient and complies with
environmental requirements and regulations.


On a large number of occasions it will be necessary to
transform the rotary movement of the motor that feeds the equipment into a
movement of another type, for example linear or reciprocating. It is therefore
necessary to develop multiple transforming mechanisms of movement. These mechanisms
can be very varied and complex, but all of them will be based on the different
transmission principles that we are going to study throughout this section.
